Dr. Byron Smith graduated Summa cum laude from Auburn University in 2005 with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. He then attended University of Alabama Birmingham's School of Dentistry where he graduated in the Top 5% of his class. Dr. Byron Smith graduated Summa cum laude from Auburn University in 2005 with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. He then attended University of Alabama Birmingham's School of Dentistry where he graduated in the Top 5% of his class. In order to pursue specialization in Orthodontics, Dr. Byron then completed a rigorous three year speciality training program at the University of California San Francisco. During his time at UCSF he served as the Chief Resident and graduated with a masters degree in Craniofacial Sciences as well as full certification as an Orthodontic Specialist in 2012.
